A New Step Forward for Women's Cancer Prevention in Maharashtra

Every year, more than 1.21 lakh new cancer cases are reported in Maharashtra. Among women, breast and cervical cancers continue to pose a significant challenge. Yet, when detected early, many lives can be saved.

We are proud to share that MOC Cancer Care Foundation, in collaboration with AMOGS, has launched a statewide Women's Cancer Prevention Initiative focused on awareness, screening, HPV vaccination, early diagnosis, and timely access to care.

What makes this initiative especially meaningful is its commitment to ensuring that women are not only screened but also supported through diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. Because screening is only the first step.

This initiative is built on a simple belief: no woman should lose her life to a cancer that could have been prevented or detected early.
